Dermal Fillers
What to Expect
Dermal fillers, often based on hyaluronic acid, are used to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, contour facial features, and enhance lips. The procedure is quick and minimally invasive. Results are immediate and continue to improve as swelling reduces.
Side Effects
Temporary swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site is normal. In rare cases, there may be lumpiness or asymmetry, which typically resolves.
Recovery Time
Mild swelling may last 1–3 days. Most patients return to work and daily activities immediately after treatment.
Best Time to Do It
Great for pre-event preparation (ideally 1–2 weeks prior). Fillers are suitable year-round and offer long-lasting effects (6–12 months depending on product and area).
Aftercare & What to Avoid
Don’t touch or massage the area for at least 6 hours. Avoid alcohol, heavy exercise, heat (saunas), and makeup for 24 hours. Always follow the aftercare provided by your specialist.
